Vietnam Airlines to launch Hanoi-Macau air service
VOV.VN - National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines have announced the official opening of a new air route between Hanoi and Macau (China) which will see one flight per day between the two destinations as of December 15.
Accordingly, the airline will operate flights from Hanoi to Macau on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, with flights departing from Hanoi at 19:45 and from Macau at 23:50. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, flights will depart from Hanoi at 04:00 am and from Macau at 8:30 am.
November also saw the carrier unveil the launch of an additional air route from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Shenzhen in China, with the first flights between the destinations set to begin on November 27 and November 28.
The Hanoi-Macau route will be Vietnam Airlines’ 17th flight route to China and 62nd international air route, bringing the airline's total network of routes to 101.
Passengers interested in flying to Macau can also visit neighbouring areas such as Hong Kong, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen.
To mark the opening of the new air route, Vietnam Airlines is offering a discount program for passengers leaving from Hanoi, with prices for a round-trip ticket starting from only US$69.
The promotional program will be applied to tickets issued from November 15 to December 15, and departing from December 15 to January 15, 2020.
