Vietnam Airlines to increase international flights
VOV.VN - National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines is set to increase the flight frequency on several international routes starting from September 23.
It will seek to increase the frequency of flights between Hanoi and the Chinese capital Beijing from three to four weekly flights operating on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Furthermore, routes connecting Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to China’s Guangzhou and Shanghai will continue to operate one flight each day.
Starting from October 29, the national carrier will move to increase the frequency on the Hanoi-Melbourne routes from two to three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Simultaneously, it will launch a new direct flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Perth from December 7 with three round trips per week.
Flights to the UK will increase from five to seven per week, starting from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. They will include four from Hanoi on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, along with three leaving from Ho Chi Minh City on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Vietnam Airlines will also increase another flight to seven per week on the route from Hanoi to Germany, and also another flight to four per week on the route from Ho Chi Minh City to France.
The national flag carrier said it will operate modern wide-body aircraft Airbus A350 and Boeing 787 with four-star Skytrax international service quality on these routes.
