Vietnam Airlines launches second direct route to India
VOV.VN - National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines has announced plans to open a second direct route between Vietnam and India on May 20 in a bid to meet people’s increasing travel demand.
Vietnam Airlines is set to operate four flights per week on the Hanoi - Mumbai route, departing on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, along with three flights per week on the Ho Chi Minh City - Mumbai route, departing on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Vietnam Airlines will also launch special fares on the non-stop service between Vietnam and India. A round-trip ticket, including taxes and fees, stands at US$199 for those who purchase tickets from the website, the mobile application, ticket offices, and agents of Vietnam Airlines. The offer will apply to tickets purchased until May 26, departing between May 20 and 26.
Vietnam Airlines earlier opened its first direct route connecting Vietnam and New Delhi on June 15, 2022.

Indeed, India leads the way amongst countries with the most prominent international search volume for Vietnam’s tourism, thereby representing considerable potential for tourism development between the two countries.
