Vietjet cancels flights to Taiwan over mega typhoon
Vietnam Airlines has announced adjustments to fights between Vietnam and Taiwan (China) due to typhoon Nepartak on July 7-8.
Specifically, the carrier will not conduct four flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Taipei and Kaohsiung on July 7, and five return flights and a flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Kaohsiung on the following day.
Flights between Vietnam and Taiwan are expected to be resumed on July 9.
Vietnam Airlines suggested passengers having interline flights through Taiwan and those to/from Taiwan regularly update themselves on weather developments and make contact with the carrier’s booking office and agencies to change departure dates if needed.
