VietJet Air resumes Vietnam-Kaohsiung air route
VOV.VN - Low-cost carrier VietJet Air will conduct flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Kaohsiung in Taiwan (China) starting from November.
The move comes following Taiwan (China) officially reopening its borders to international tourists from October 13.
Moving forward, VietJet will operate a total of three flights per week on the Ho Chi Minh City - Kaohsiung route, with this increasing to four flights per week from December 16.
Furthermore, the airline will also run two flights per week on the Hanoi - Kaohsiung route, with this increasing to one daily return flight from December 16.
Passengers will be able to move between Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Taipei, with many flights throughout the week.
Moreover, flight routes to both Taichung and Tainan will quickly be restored in order to meet the increasing demand for travel before the upcoming New Year and Lunar New Year holidays.
With just over three hours of flight, visitors will be able to purchase direct flight tickets to explore a range of destinations in both Vietnam and Taiwan (China), with fares starting from only 615,000 for a one-way ticket.
According to the Taiwanese Tourism Bureau in Vietnam, foreign tourists should purchase medical insurance before their departure and agree to fully comply with Taiwanese pandemic prevention regulations.
