VietJet Air opens new routes to Perth and Adelaide
VOV.VN - Low-cost carrier VietJet Air has officially launched new routes connecting the cities of Perth and Adelaide, Australia’s fourth and fifth largest metropolitan areas, to Ho Chi Minh City.
Deputy Premier of Western Australia Rita Saffioti, Minister of Tourism of South Australia Zoe Bettison, and leaders of Perth and Adelaide Airports all congratulated VietJet on the opening of the new routes at a recent launching ceremony.
By opening the new air service to Perth and Adelaide, VietJet has become the first airline to operate five routes connecting Vietnam with Australia’s five largest cities - Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide, operating 58 flights every week from December.
With five round-trip flights operating per week on the new routes, visitors will easily be able to travel to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam’s largest and most dynamic economic hub. In addition, it offers travelers more opportunities to go to leading urban areas in Australia and to other destinations in India, and elsewhere in Southeast Asia, and East Asia.
On this occasion, VietJet launched a promotional programme for passengers booking seats from November 22 to 28.
Airfares will be sold at discounted prices starting from only VND0 on all domestic and international routes with flight from January 1, 2024, to October 31, 2024.
VietJet has recently offered a financial support solution for ticket payments with a scheme titled “Fly now - Pay later” which aims to help overseas Vietnamese return to their homeland during the upcoming Lunar New Year Festival.
