VASCO to operate Vinh-Da Nang air route

Vietnam Air Services Company (VASCO) said that it will operate flights between Nghe An province’s Vinh city and Da Nang city from February 15.

VASCO, a subordinate company of the Vietnam Airlines Corporation, will conduct seven round-trips per week on the route, using 68-seat ATR-72 aircraft. Tickets are available for sale, from 600,000 VND (25.77 USD) per one-way fare (excluding taxes and fees) for flights from February 2-March 30.

Besides facilitating conditions for tourists to discover Da Nang coastal city, the route helps promote tourism link with Da Lat - the city of thousand flowers as VASCO is currently operate seven round-trips per a week on Da Nang- Da Lat route.

VASCO is operating 11 short-haul flights connecting 13 tourist destinations of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Ca Mau, Con Dao, Can Tho, Rach Gia, Phu Quoc, Da Lat, Da Nang, Dong Hoi, Vinh and Dien Bien.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam firm granted Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) to VASCO in August 2014, allowing the firm to operate ATR-72 aircraft. Together with flight operation, VASCO provides operating services and maintenance of small private airplanes.
