Van Don airport welcomes nearly 125,000 passengers

VOV.VN -Van Don airport in the northern province of Quang Ninh has served approximately 125,000 local and foreign passengers since the start of the year.

The airport currently has three air routes in operation with the domestic flight path connecting Van Don to Ho Chi Minh city being ran by Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Air, and Bamboo Airways.

Apart from the domestic route, the airport also runs two international air routes carried out as charter flights. These flight paths connect Van Don with Bao’an airport in China’s Shenzhen city and Incheon airport in Seoul, the Republic of Korea.

During the year so far, Van Don airport has served nearly 925 domestic flights with approximately 123,000 passengers on board, in addition to 21 international flights containing nearly 2,000 passengers.

As scheduled, Van Don airport will add an additional air route linking Van Don to the Chinese cities of Kunming and Nanning from July 16.
