Turkish travel agencies consider foray into Southeast Asia

VOV.VN - Turkish and other Balkan Peninsula travel agencies said they are considering adding tours over the next few years to many Southeast Asian, a move that could be a boon for tourism in Vietnam.

The comments were made at a tourism conference attended by Vietnam Ambassador Pham Anh Tuan in Istanbul, Turkey.

The Ambassador was invited to deliver a speech to private sector travel agencies, airlines and others in tourism related industries as well as the diplomatic corps from Turkey and other Balkan Peninsula countries.

Ambassador Tuan said he was happy to have had the chance to speak before the gathering and talk about some of the exciting tourism destinations in Vietnam and the tourism promotion initiatives underway such as e-Visa.
