Tripadvisor honours Bai Dinh Pagoda among global Top 10% destinations

VOV.VN - Bai Dinh Pagoda in Vietnam’s northern Ninh Binh province has proven its appeal as one of the Top 10% most loved destinations worldwide in 2025 through the Travellers’ Choice Awards by Tripadvisor, the world’s leading online travel platform.

According to Bui Van Manh, director of Ninh Binh’s Department of Tourism, the award is a recognition from millions of positive reviews by international visitors, affirming the prestige, beauty, cultural and spiritual values, as well as the service quality of Bai Dinh Pagoda.

This recognition from TripAdvisor will motivate Bai Dinh Pagoda and the local tourism industry to aim for the “Best of the Best” – Top 1% of destinations worldwide, thereby strengthening Ninh Binh and Vietnam’s position on the global tourism map, said the official.

Located within the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, a UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage Site, Bai Dinh pagoda is renowned for its grand scale, unique architecture, and rich history. It now holds many records, including Asia’s largest gold-plated Buddha statue, longest Arhat statue corridor, tallest Buddhist relic tower, and Southeast Asia’s largest bronze Maitreya Buddha statue.

Every year, the pagoda welcomes millions of visitors from across Vietnam and around the globe.
