Travelers to city of Hue up 1.9%, far short of expectations
VOV.VN - The total number of travelers to the city of Hue during the six months leading up to July rose by 1.9% to 1,750,000, reported the Thua Thien Hue People’s Committee.

The numbers indicate that city’s tourism industry is showing signs of stagnation, particularly for the mediocre performance in attracting higher numbers of inbound travelers.
Visitors from the Republic of Korea and France accounted for 36% or 148,000 of the inbound figure, with the balance substantially comprised of visitors from the UK, US, Germany and Thailand.
The Thai market was the only one to see a decline in the total number of visitors with all markets showing only marginal improvement.
