Tours, air tickets to enjoy huge discounts at Vietnam International Travel Mart

VOV.VN - More than 18,000 cheap tours and 100,000 low-cost air tickets are to be put on offer at the 2019 Vietnam International Travel Mart (VITM) scheduled to take place between March 27 and 30 in Hanoi.

A representative from HanoiRedtour noted that in addition to promotional products from Vietnam Airlines and discounted air tickets of between 80  and 90 per cent by budget airline Jetstar Pacific, the travel company are to offer 100 tours at a discounted price of up to VND5 million.

Additionally, tours to European countries will also enjoy a discount of 20 per cent. For example, an eight-day tour to Hungary, Austria, and the Czech Republic is priced at VND39.9 million while a tour to Germany, France, Belgium, and the Netherlands costs VND43.9 million.

Representative from tour operator Saigontourist also announced that they are to offer more than 50 domestic tours and 60 foreign tours at a discounted price of VND7 million.

A five-day tour to discover the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea has become more in demand in the aftermath of the DPRK-US Summit with tours being priced at VND29.9 million.

At the Fiditour pavilion, visitors will have the chance to purchase package tours which take in the Republic of Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Da Nang, Hanoi, and Phu Quoc with prices starting at VND1 million.

Representative from Vietravel said it will offer a 35 per cent discount on domestic tours with package tours to Sapa, Da Nang, Quy Nhon, and Phu Quoc being priced at VND1.9 millon, VND3.9 million, and VND5.39 million respectively.

Travel companies such as Flamingo and Fiditour are also poised to introduce green tours at the fair to offer visitors the chance of a retreat from the hectic atmosphere of the city.

In total, VITM 2019 is expected to attract 85,000 visitors.
