Tourist arrivals in Danang surge during holidays

VOV.VN - The number of tourists to Danang is estimated to increase 30.1% to over 290,000 on holidays between April 30 and May 1 against the same period last year, of which foreign arrivals reaching nearly 82,000, mostly from China, Japan and the Republic of Korea. 

Deputy director of the Danang Tourism Department Tran Chi Cuong revealed in a report at a meeting on April 20.

Cuong attributed the increase to the opening of Danang International Firework Festival 2017 and diverse art shows on the occasion.

Hotel occupancy rates are predicted to reach 72-75% while high-end occupancy rates are estimated at 80-85%.
