Tourism Awards honour outstanding travel operators
(VOV) - Distinguished winners of the 2013 Vietnam Tourism Awards were applauded on September 26 at a gala industry night in Hanoi.
This year’s ceremony sponsored by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism in collaboration with the Vietnam Tourism Association represents the annual celebration of the highest achievements in the country’s tourism industry.
Winners were announced from a broad range of categories covering the many segments of the tourism sector.
Two five-star hotels from Hanoi (Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi and Melia Hanoi), five from Ho Chi Minh City and three resorts from Khanh Hoa province were honoured in the top 10 five-star hotel category.
Saigontourist Co. Ltd (HCMC), Fiditour (HCMC) and Vietnamtourism-Hanoi JSC were also recognized for excellence in the top 10 outbound tour provider category.
