Top destinations to visit Ninh Binh ahead of National Day

VOV.VN - Home to an array of must-visit attractions such as Mua cave, Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, and Thung Nham Bird Park, the northern province of Ninh Binh has plenty to offer to travelers on the upcoming National Day public holiday on September 2.

Thought of as a miniature Great Wall in Vietnam, Mua cave is an ideal check-in point for young travelers looking to snap beautiful photos.

Visitors have to climb a total of 500 stone steps to reach the peak of Mua mountain

Once at the top visitors can enjoy spectacular views of Tam Coc. Autumn is thought of as the best time in which to enjoy the stunning paddy fields of Ninh Binh

The Trang An Landscape complex also provides travelers with an array of magnificent landscapes to enjoy.

One noticeable feature of the area is that it is surrounded by majestic limestone mountains. Many scenes from the blockbuster film ‘King Kong’ were also filmed here.

Visitors are able to row boats down the Ngo Dong river whilst savouring some of the scenic views of nearby mountains and paddy fields in Tam Coc-Bich Dong.

Bich Dong pagoda is also a popular destination among tourists. It is an ancient pagoda which regularly attracts pilgrims from across the country.

Am Tien cave is a national relic site located within the Hoa Lu National Relic complex. The site attracts visitors due to its tranquil, pristine, and romantic landscape.

The Natural Thung Nam Bird Park entices visitors with its culture, spirituality, beautiful landscapes, and range of bio-diversity. The park is surrounded by tropical forests and limestone mountains which feature a number of caves and valleys.

Covering a total area of 3,000 hectares, Van Long lagoon is an eco-tourism site which is considered to be the largest wetland nature reserve site throughout the northern delta.
