Thousands expected to visit Danang int’l tourism fair
About 7,000 people are expected to visit the Beach-Leisure & MICE Travel Mart (BMTM Danang 2016) which is scheduled to take place from June 24 - 26 in the central coastal city of Danang.

The information was revealed at a press conference held by the municipal People’s Committee on June 15 to introduce the event and launch a contest on initiative for sustainable tourism.
The BMTM Danang 2016, an international trade-tourism fair, boasts 172 booths featuring tourism and service products.
The fair will offer a chance for travel and tourism agencies across the region to introduce their beach-leisure and MICE ((Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, Exhibitions) tourism products.
Danang city, famous for Ngu Hanh Son (Marble Mountain), Linh Ung Pagoda and various beautiful beaches, is close to world heritage sites such as Hoi An ancient town, My Son Sanctuary and Cham Island in Quang Nam province; the Phong Nha-Ke Bang Cave systems in Quang Binh; and the Hue monuments complex.
The city hosts 24 direct international flights and 14 chartered flights a day.
In 2015, the city welcomed 4.68 million tourists, ranking it in fourth place in terms of the number of tourists, behind Hanoi, HCM City and Quang Ninh.
The entire city has 492 accommodation facilities with 18,233 rooms and 218 travel agencies.
