Thai travel agencies make FAM trip to Hue
VOV.VN - A delegation made up of Thai travel agencies and reporters took part in a familiarisation (FAM) trip to the central province of Thua Thien-Hue on April 4 in order to explore local tourist attractions and culture.
During the trip, the Thai visitors are set to tour the Imperial Citadel of Hue, a historical landmark which has been recognized as a UNESCO cultural heritage, alongside Thien Mu pagoda and Dong Ba market.
They will also have the chance to watch royal court performances, enjoy delicious Hue cuisine, and listen to Hue folk singing, a variation of Hue royal court music on the Perfume River.
The trip, arranged by the Thua Thien Hue provincial Department of Tourism, the Da Nang Department of Tourism, and some other local businesses, aims to introduce special tourist attractions and other popular tourism products from the locality.
Earlier, representatives of Thai VietJet, a subsidiary of Vietnamese carrier Vietjet Air, also visited Thua Thien-Hue in late March to hold discussions with local authorities relating to resuming direct flights between Bangkok and Hue.
