Seaplane to give visitors new view of Da Nang and Hue

As of April 25, Hai Au Aviation Joint Stock Company will put into operation a new air route from Da Nang city to Thua Thien Hue province with a return flight via seaplane. Each flight will have the capacity to take a total of 12 passengers.

During the 40-minute flight, passengers will have the opportunity to enjoy some of the stunning scenery that the route passes over. Notable landmarks include the Hai Van pass, Son Tra peninsula, Han river, Cau Vang (Golden Bridge) on Ba Na Hills, Huong river, Marble Mountains (Ngu Hanh Son), Hue Imperial Citadel, and Tam Giang lagoon.

The service will land in Phu Bai airport in Hue or Da Nang International airport. Alternatively, visitors can also select a 30-minute tour of the cities of Da Nang and Hue.

The launch of the seaplane service will contribute, not only to accelerating tourism development in Da Nang city and Thua Thien Hue province, but the central region in general.
