Saigontourist Group culinary festival named World's Best for fourth straight year
VOV.VN - Saigontourist Group has won a double title at the 7th Annual World Culinary Awards held on October 14 in Green Island, Jamaica, being named "World's Best Culinary Festival 2026" and "Asia's Best Culinary Festival 2026."
This marks the fourth straight year the Festival of Culinary Culture, Delicacies Saigontourist Group has received the global title (2023-2026) and the fifth consecutive year it has been recognized as Asia's best since 2022.
Organized from March 26 to 29 at Van Thanh Tourist Area in Ho Chi Minh City, the 2026 festival attracted nearly 80,000 visitors, an increase of about 10,000 from the previous year. The event featured 500 dishes across 10 culinary themes, ranging from Northwestern, Central, coastal, and royal cuisines to Southern specialties, green gastronomy, and international foods, alongside traditional craft villages and folk art performances.
Speaking at the event, Nguyen Quoc Anh, Vice General Director of Saigontourist Group and head of the organizing committee, represented the corporation to receive the awards. Saigontourist Group Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa noted that the international recognition serves as momentum to invest systematically in cultural-culinary products and enhance the global appeal of Vietnam's tourism brand.
On the sidelines of the ceremony in Jamaica, Saigontourist Group held working sessions with diplomatic agencies and business partners to promote two-way tourism between Vietnam and Jamaica, while surveying potential routes in the Caribbean market.
The consecutive accolades affirm Saigontourist Group's sustained efforts to elevate service standards, refresh the narrative of Vietnamese culture, and advance the nation's tourism brand on the international stage.
Saigontourist Group to debut Vietnam culture and cuisine festival in Japan
