RoK airlines resumes Incheon-Da Nang air route
VOV.VN - The first regular flight between Incheon of the Republic of Korea (RoK) and Da Nang was successfully operated by flag carrier Eastar Jet, landing safely at Da Nang International Airport on September 21.
The flight was carrying nearly 180 passengers and departed from Incheon International Airport in the RoK.
Moving forward, flag carrier Eastar Jet will operate the Incheon-Da Nang route with one flight per day.
Previously, in 2017 Eastar Jet launched regular flights from Da Nang to Incheon, Cheonju, and Jeju with a frequency of five flights per day.
Kim Sang Wook, chief representative of Eastar Jet Airlines in Da Nang, said that Da Nang is still a favourite destination for Korean tourists.
The central city has seen an increasing number of foreign visitors, especially travelling those from the RoK, in recent years, he noted.
In line with this trend, airlines plan to increase flights in later this year and into early 2024 due to the strong desire to promote the resumption of air routes between Da Nang and the RoK to meet the travel demand of both sides, Kim shared.
