Quang Binh to launch tourism flights over Phong Nha-Ke Bang in July
VOV.VN - The central province of Quang Binh plans to launch a scenic flight service that will take passengers over Phong Nha-Ke Bang primeval forest from July as part of a range of activities that will take place in tandem with Quang Binh Cave Festival 2019.

To mark the occasion, travel companies will offer discounts of between 10 and 20 per cent on tours while a number of new services are expected to be launched including a scenic flight service that will go over Phong Nha-Ke Bang, a helicopter that flies over the Dong Hoi-Da Nang air route, and adventure games taking place at Ozo Toptree park.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with the central province of Quang Binh are expected to unveil official plans to develop Phong Nha-Ke Bang National park at the festival.
Quang Binh is well known as the ‘Kingdom of caves’ and features 350 caves of a variety of sizes. Currently, 50 caves are put in operation, including Son Doong, the world’s largest natural cave, En Cave, Thien Duong, and Phong Nha.
During the first half of the year, the number of visitors to the central province Quang Binh surged by 20 per cent to 2.45 million visitors including over 133,000 foreign arrivals.
