Preparations underway in Ha Long ahead of ASEAN+3 Song Contest
VOV.VN -With the ASEAN+3 Song Contest 2019 set to be held in Ha Long city by the Voice of Vietnam (VOV), preparations are commencing in the city ahead of the second version of the bi-annual event.

| The competition is scheduled to take place between July 26 and July 29 with professional pop singers aged from 18 to 35 from 10 Southeast Asian nations taking part. The overall aim of the event is to promote cultural exchanges between nations within the bloc. |

| Contestants from Vietnam and other countries, delegations, and spectators will have the chance to discover Ha Long’s beautiful landscapes and friendly people though the event. |

| Visitors will have the chance to visit Ha Long bay, a site that has twice been recognised by UNESCO as a world natural heritage site for its geological and morphological value. |

| At the bay, contestants and guests will be able to admire the site’s natural beauty as well as explore a number of magnificent caves dotted throughout the area. |

| Trong Mai, also known as the rock of the kissing chickens, Dinh Huong, and La Vong are among the famous islets found in the bay. Each of them has its own story and is shaped in a unique manner. |

| Aside from visiting mysterious ancient caves, such as Thien Cung, Sung Sot, and Dau Go, visitors will be able to take part in out-door sporting activities, including kayaking and sailing basket boats. |

| A stroll along the beach or sightseeing on the city’s new double-decker buses are also fun activities for visitors wishing to explore Ha Long city. |
