The CAAV has therefore put forward the idea of operating 20 flights each day on the Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City–Hanoi route, with a specific number of flights being allocated to each airline. The suggested plan would see both national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines and low-cost airline Vietjet Air operating six flights per day each, while both Bamboo Airways and Jetstar Pacific would each operate four flights per day.

Moreover, the proposal would see 10 flights operate from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang, of which Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air would both run three flights per day, with Bamboo Airways and Jetstar Pacific each operating two flights per day.

With regard to air routes running from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to other localities around the country, each airline would operate a single flight per day to meet the travel demands of local people.

With the government’s social distancing measures in place, the CAAV requires all relevant units operating in the aviation industry to strictly comply with them.
