Pilgrims flock to Yen Tu Buddhist spring festival
VOV.VN - The Yen Tu Buddhist spring festival officially opened on February 25, the 10th day of the first lunar month, at Uong Bi city in the northern province of Quang Ninh, with the attendance of numerous Buddhist followers and visitors.
The festival begins with a solemn procession and traditional rituals at the great hall of the Yen Tu festival tourism services centre in Uong Bi city. |
Those in attendance were State Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh, former State Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan, local authorities and representatives from Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS). |
