Online tourism initiative launches in HCM City
VOV.VN - As part of an effort to help travel to the Ho Chi Minh City metropolitan area grow, an online tourism initiative was launched today (July 5), reports the Vietnam News Agency.
The fledgling tourism industry in the City has ample opportunity for growth through online activity, say the sponsors of the event, if tourism professionals learn how to use the internet to improve their business.
Through a wide range of activities, the city is providing users, regardless of their skills or knowledge level, the opportunity to be trained on how to upgrade their presence on the web to adopt best digital marketing practices.
All local companies, tourism professionals, as well as, those who want to take advantage of the possibilities offered by the Internet, can register free of charge to attend special courses on the online education platform throughout the day.
The initiative is jointly sponsored by the Vietnam E-commerce Association, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, and Vietnam E-commerce and Information Technology Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade).
