Nha Trang welcomes first Chinese group tour
VOV.VN - Bamboo Airways flight QH9583 landed at Cam Ranh International Airport in Khanh Hoa province on April 2, bringing 153 Chinese visitors to central Vietnam from Macau (China).
This is the first flight to bring Chinese travelers to Khanh Hoa after China allowed group tours to Vietnam, starting on March 15, due to the impact of the COVID-19 measures.
During their week-long stay, the Chinese visitors are scheduled to go on a city tour of major local attractions, including Vinwonders entertainment area, experience Samadhi spa services and explore Nha Trang night market.
After this flight, Bamboo Airways is scheduled to run charter flights from Macao to Cam Ranh with a frequency of four flights a week. From May and June 2023, the airline will launch more routes from Shanghai and Fuzhou to Cam Ranh with a frequency of three flights a week.
Khanh Hoa is one of Chinese visitors’ favourite destinations during their Vietnam tour. In 2019, the central coastal province welcomed more than 3.5 million foreign visitors, with more than half coming from China.
The local tourism industry is speeding up its communication campaign, upgrading infrastructure facilities, developing new products and training human resources to receive foreign visitors back this summer and especially the peak season later this year.
