Nha Trang welcomes arrival of international cruise guests

VOV.VN - British cruise ship Queen Elizabeth 2 docked at Nha Trang Bay in the southcentral coastal province of Khanh Hoa on April 6.

The ship brought with it nearly 1,900 foreign travelers, most of them from France, Germany, Spain, Thailand, and Singapore.

During the course of their one-day stay in Nha Trang city, international cruise guests are to be taken to some of the city’s most popular tourist attractions, including Ponagar Cham towers, Truong Son craft village, and Dam market.

They will also be able to enjoy a view of Nha Trang city from high above, going on a cyclo tour, enjoying mud bathing, and learning cooking skills.

The cruise is set to depart Nha Trang Bay on the evening of April 6 as it continues its journey to the Philippines.

So far this year Khanh Hoa province has welcomed a total of six cruise ships bringing with it around 3,000 passengers, with April seeing the locality welcome an additional cruise ship.

Khanh Hoa province is aiming to welcome approximately four million tourists during the course of this year, including 1.5 million international visitors, earning estimated tourism revenue of VND21 trillion in the process.
