Nha Trang Bay welcomes 2,700 cruise visitors aboard Costa Serena

VOV.VN - Italian-flagged cruise ship Costa Serena docked at Ana Marina Nha Trang on December 7, bringing 2,700 travelers to Nha Trang city, mostly from Europe.

Upon arrival, the passengers explored several popular tourist attractions, including Long Son Pagoda, Ponagar Tower, Nha Trang Cathedral, hot mineral springs I-Resort Nha Trang, Dam Market, Skylight Bar, and Tram Huong Tower.

The ship departed Nha Trang in the evening of the same day to continue its journey to Phu My port in Ho Chi Minh City.

This has marked the first ship to arrive at Ana Marina Nha Trang since September 2024 following its refurbishment.

Over the past year, Khanh Hoa has received ships at Cam Ranh International Port, about 60km from Nha Trang ward. Ana Marina welcoming ships again gives cruise lines to have more options for destinations while carrying visitors to Khanh Hoa.

According to Khanh Hoa’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, since the beginning of the year, the locality has hosted 24 international cruise ships with more than 25,808 passengers.

In December, Khanh Hoa is expected to welcome 7 more cruise ships carrying approximately 5,000 visitors. This is a positive sign for the recovery and development of cruise tourism activities, contributing to the success of the tourism industry this year.
