New Vietnamese tourism promotion launched in RoK

VOV.VN - The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT), in coordination with budget carrier Vietjet Air, organized a promotional campaign for the country’s tourism products in Seoul, the Republic of Korea (RoK) on July 18.

The campaign will see the launch of tourism promotion activities in four cities of Seoul, Daejeon, Daegu and Busan.

Deputy Head of the VNAT, Ngo Hoai Chung, says Vietnam and the RoK share many cultural similarities. Vietnam’s tourism products are diverse, ranging from cultural, heritage and ecological tourism to luxury seaside leisure tourism products from the north to the south, which are in line with Korean tastes.

According to Vietnam’s tourism development orientation, the RoK is one of the biggest and most important markets to tap into.

Vietnam welcomed 2.4 million Korean visitors last years and more than 1.4 million during the first five months of this year.
