New tour shortens time exploring Son Doong cave

VOV.VN - As from 2018, visitors can conduct the Son Dong Cave expedition by overcoming the Vietnam’s Great Wall (high stalactite wall) to shorten the time exploring the incredible cave to four days and three nights.

The information was unveiled by the Quang Binh province People’s Committee on its October 5 meeting to review the outcomes of tours to the world’s largest cave Son Doong.

This year, Oxalis Co, Ltd has effectively implemented the Son Doong expedition tours to meet visitors’ increasing demands for discovering the world’s largest cave, which belongs to Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park.

The company has supported the making of tourism promo video clips by director Jordan Vogt-Roberts, and film crew of Sony and Thai Woody Talkshow.

So far this year, Son Doong Cave has welcomed 740,000 visitors on two major tours (five days, four nights, and four days, three nights).

Especially, the new expedition plan on crossing Vietnam’s Great Wall in four days and three nights will be conducted on a pilot basis for three months with 19 tours and 188 visitors.
