New caravan tours to Sapa launched
Binh Minh Tourism Company has launched new caravan tours to the popular resort town of Sapa in the northern mountainous province of Lao Cai following the inauguration of the Noi Bai-Lao Cai highway.
Tourists can now drive their own car from Hanoi to Sapa at weekends along the new road which halves travel times between Hanoi and Lao Cai to only 3.5 hours.
The tour’s route will take them to major attractions in Sapa such as Cat Cat Waterfall, O Quy Ho Pass, terraced fields in Muong Hoa Valley, Ham Rong Mount and Sapa love market.
The hundred-year-old popular resort town of Sapa has been named by Lonely Planet as one of the top ten walking sites in the world for tourists.
The US-based Travel and Leisure Magazine has listed Sapa’s terraced rice fields as one of the seven most magnificent examples in the world.
