Must-visit destinations in Thai Nguyen province for travelers

VOV.VN - The mountainous northern province of Thai Nguyen has developed into an attractive destination for tourists due to the area’s stunning landscapes, spiritual tourism sites, and exciting activities.

Widely considered to be the most popular tourism site in Thai Nguyen, Nui Coc lake is located approximately 20km west of the city’s centre. Visitors are able to enjoy several exciting activities such as taking a boat trip around the lake, enjoying a water music program, and visiting the two-hectare water park nearby.
Visitors are able to sample a number of unique local specialties at the Nui Coc tourism site. 
Within the site can be found the Thac Vang pagoda which impresses visitors with its giant statue of Buddha amid a stunning backdrop.
Located in Dinh Hoa district, ATK Dinh Hoa is recognised as an important national relic site. The location is where President Ho Chi Minh and other Party leaders lived and worked from 1947 to 1954 during the nine-year resistance war against the French.
Phuong Hoang cave can be found in Vo Nhai district and boasts a tranquil atmosphere along with pure air. The cave is surrounded by the Mo Ga stream which features crystal-clear blue water. Visitors are advised to bring a flashlight in order to explore the stream that is located inside the cave.
Visitors are able to savour the scenic views of Tan Cuong tea hill and experience picking up tea alongside local farmers.
Natural streams such as Cua Tu, Suoi Lanh, Kem, and Dat Dang are also popular places for tourists to visit due to their clean water.
The Museum of Vietnamese Ethnic Cultures is located at the heart of Thai Nguyen city. The museum holds more than 3,000 valuable documents and artifacts which help visitors can gain an insight into the cultural characteristics of Vietnamese ethnic groups.
Duom temple in Phu Luong district is a popular tourism site . It is located at the foot of Diem Son mountain and roughly 24 km away from the city’s centre.
