More Indian luxury weddings held in Da Nang

VOV.VN - Two Indian delegations have rented two five-star resorts in the central coastal city of Da Nang in order to organise two weddings, with each wedding hosting more than 400 guests over the course of three days.

The first wedding between Indian bride Heena Paryani and groom Bhisham Ramchandani took place from February 29 to March 2 at Danang Marriot Resort, while the second wedding of bride Kulvin Kaur and groom Dilip Bhagwan was held at Hyatt Regency Danang Resort from March 2 to March 4.

A representative of Dated Luxury Weddings and Events Consultancy Co., Ltd. said that the firm has so far received requests for organising weddings for about 30 international wedding guests, adding that the unit has organised five weddings for Indian couples in the central city of Da Nang during this first quarter.

Earlier in January, an Indian billionaire couple rented all 258 rooms at the Sheraton Grand Da Nang hotel to organise their wedding with 500 guests from India.

A representative of the Da Nang Department of Tourism said that dozens of international and domestic have been held in the city over the first two months of this year, opening up bright prospects for the local tourism industry.

Nguyen Thi Hoai An, deputy director of the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City, expressed her hope that the central city will become a popular emerging destination for wedding tourism in Asia moving forward.

Currently, Da Nang boasts several strengths of natural landscapes and upgraded facilities as it strives to develop into an ideal destination for wedding tourism, she said, noting that wedding tourism will become one of the high-quality key tourism products in the city.
