The program is held in the first and seventh lunar months (usually February and August) every year.
Themed “Vegetarian and Heath,” the program of the seventh lunar month this year allows diners to taste a wide range of nutritious vegetarian dishes.
In addition to 70 vegetarian dishes associated with the “Saigon – Vegetarian Dishes” brand over the years, this year’s program features some fresh dishes made from three main ingredients: brown rice, tofu and bean sprouts including salad served with tofu and asparagus, deep fried tofu, brown rice porridge with red beans and taro and Quang-style noodle.
The program during the Vu Lan (filial piety) festival is aimed at conveying a meaningful message about children’s deep gratitude toward parents and creating a special occasion for families to savor vegetarian dishes together on the occasion of the traditional Vietnamese festival.
The “Saigon – Vegetarian Dishes” program is available from August 20 (the 29th of the sixth lunar month) to September 20 (the first of the eighth lunar month) on the second and fourth floors of Metropole Wedding and Convention Center.
