Luxury cruise ship brings 4,600 foreign visitors to Nha Trang city

VOV.VN - Spectrum of the Seas, a ship among the world's top 10 most luxurious cruise liners, arrived at Nha Trang Bay in the southcentral coastal province of Khanh Hoa on August 2, carrying 4,600 foreign visitors onboard.

The majority of passengers are from the United Kingdom, the United States, and Australia.

During their one-day stay, the foreign guests are to be taken to some of the city’s most popular tourist attractions, including Ponagar Cham towers, Truong Son craft village, and Dam market.

They also experienced going on a cyclo tour, enjoying mud bathing, and learning cooking in the Memento tourist area in Dien Khanh district.

The cruise ship is scheduled to leave Nha Trang at 6 p.m. on August 2, and to return to Vietnam on August 21.

Khanh Hoa province is aiming to welcome approximately four million tourists this year, including 1.5 million international visitors, and ern VND21 trillion in revenue.

Spectrum of the Seas belongs to the Quantum-Ultra line of ships and was manufactured by Meyer Werft (Germany), being put into service at the beginning of 2019. The ship stretches for 347m long, stands at nearly 63m high with 18 floors, boasts a capacity of nearly 169,400 tonnes, and is rated as the most modern ship in the world. This is the third time that the ship has made a Southeast Asian voyage.
