Korea Travel Roadshow 2026 in Da Nang expands Vietnam-RoK tourism cooperation
VOV.VN - The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) in Vietnam held the Korea Travel Roadshow 2026 in the central city of Da Nang on the evening of May 20, drawing tourism businesses from Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK).
At the event, KTO Vietnam introduced support policies aimed at expanding package tours for individual travelers as well as MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) groups.
To diversify travel experiences for Vietnamese tourists and support travel companies in developing new products, KTO expanded its support themes to include K-Culture, local airports, charter flights, study tours, sports tourism and Vietnam-RoK heritage-linked tours to K-Vietnam Valley in Bonghwa County, Gyeongsangbuk Province. The project is considered a distinctive cultural and historical symbol in Vietnam-RoK diplomatic relations.
For the MICE segment, alongside support packages from KTO headquarters, KTO Vietnam has also rolled out support policies specifically for Vietnamese travel companies, including promotional funding, coordination of thematic seminars and familiarization trips for business clients.
During the event, KTO also showcased several notable new tourism destinations and experiences in the RoK, including the Nongshim RedForce & PC Arena esports complex, the Tirtir Seongsu Flagship Store in Seoul, and the “Urban Farmer” smart farm in Busan, which combines smart farming experiences, culinary culture and relaxation by the sea.
Park Eun Jung, Chief Representative of KTO Vietnam, said Vietnam continued to be one of the RoK tourism sector’s leading markets.
She said the roadshow is designed to enhance connections between Vietnamese and RoK tourism businesses while providing practical support for Vietnamese travel operators.
She added that tours linked to K-Vietnam Valley are expected to serve as a bridge of friendship and offer meaningful travel experiences for Vietnamese visitors to the RoK in 2026, thereby contributing to stronger bilateral tourism exchanges in the time ahead.
