Khao Kheow Open Zoo, Nihonmatsu sign agreement on tourism promotion

Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Chonburi province and the city of Nihonmatsu in Japan have signed an agreement aimed at promoting tourism between the two countries.

The Director of Khao Kheow Open Zoo, Attaporn Srihayrun, on behalf of the Zoological Park Organization of Thailand, and the Director of Nihonmatsu Tourism Association, Uochi Matsari, on behalf of the Mayor of Nihonmatsu, signed the agreement to step up cooperation on mutual tourism.

Under the agreement, Thailand will promote tourist destinations in Nihonmatsu to Thai people, while the Japanese city will promote Khao Kheow Open Zoo to travelers in Japan.

Nihonmatsu is located in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. The city is known for its distinguished history, rich cultural traditions, beautiful natural landscapes and hot springs. One of its popular destinations is Dake Spa. Nihonmatsu is also famous for its fruit, desserts, sake breweries and handmade paper.
