International Travel Expo gives a major boost to tourism

VOV.VN - The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism has coordinated with its Hanoi counterpart in organising the 14th International Travel Expo (ITE 2018)  to promote tourism and attract more visitors to HCM City in particular, and Vietnam.

This reputable travel event for the Vietnam and the Mekong River region is scheduled to take place at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre from September 6-8 with the participation of airlines, hotels, resorts, travel agents, tourism groups, and the representatives of 40 countries and territories who will showcase their products and services across 300 pavilions.

During the Expo, there will be events to expand key tourist markets in the four regions of North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, and Northeast Asia.

A wide range of seminars introducing attractive destinations in Vietnam and marketing campaigns to lure visitors from the Republic of Korea, Japan, Australia, and Western Europe will be planned, while many promotional tourism products and programs will be on offer at the event.

On the occasion, the HCM City Department of Tourism also provided information about a tourism festival set to transpire from April 12-15 at the September 23 Park.
