Hung Kings Temple complex welcomes tourists at night
VOV.VN - A night tour guiding guests around the Hung Kings Temple historical site in the northern province of Phu Tho has opened to the public, with the ultimate aim to draw more visitors.
Tours of the complex are scheduled to last until the 2021 Hung Kings Temple Festival which is traditionally held in commemoration of the Hung Kings’ death anniversary on the 10th day of the third lunar month, with the event set to take place on April 21 this year.
Following the occasion it will be held on the first and 15th days of each lunar month.
Nguyen Dac Thuy, director of Phu Tho province’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said the launch of the night tour represents one of the many activities being held in order to celebrate the 2021 Hung Kings Temple Festival.
In addition, the tours will also contribute to honouring the cultural heritage values of Phu Tho province as recognised by the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
During the course of the night tours, visitors will be able to visit the Hung Vuong museum, Den Thuong, also known as the Upper Temple, Den Trung, also known as the Middle Temple, Den Ha, also known as the Lower Temple, and Nghia Linh mountain.
