Holidaymakers enjoy views at glass skywalk in Nong Khai

Over the long weekend, tourists flocked to Wat Pha Tak Suea temple in Sangkhom district in Nong Khai province to enjoy the breathtaking view from the famous glass skywalk.

Many who drove to the site were forced to park their cars as far as a kilometer away from the temple, which soon became too crowded during the day.

The glass skywalk offers a bird’s eye view of the Mekong River, providing a beautiful backdrop to photographers. The U-shaped skywalk, which is located on a cliff near the temple, can only accommodate 20 people at a time.

Police officers were deployed to the temple to ensure safety and relieve traffic congestion. Over the last four days, around 8,000 people came from all across the country to visit Wat Pha Tak Suea.
