Hoi An among world’s Top 10 best solo travel destinations
VOV.VN - The ancient city of Hoi An has been listed among the Top 10 best solo travel destinations, as compiled by website Smoky Mountains of the United States.
According to the website, Hoi An has a crime rate of 6.25, making it significantly lower compared to Lima of Peru, which has the highest crime rate of 84.51.
Smoky Mountains noted that for those travelling solo, feeling safe can make or break a tourists’ experience.
“You shouldn’t have to worry about being pickpocketed, assaulted, kidnapped, or harmed during your trip. Luckily, there are an array of locations that have safety measures and precautions so that you can feel and be safe during your visit. Hoi An is one of those destinations,” it stressed.
In addition, the ancient city is also considered to be one of the cheapest cities in Asia with an average cost for a tourist of less than US$800 per month.
Other destinations named in the list include Kyoto of Japan, Ljubljana of Slovenia, Madeira of Portugal, Queenstown of New Zealand, Naples of Florida, Reykjavik of Iceland, Santa Barbara of California, Praha of the Czech Republic, and Munich of Germany.
