HCM City names 31 friendly tourist destinations for 2025
VOV.VN - Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism on December 5 unveiled a list of 31 friendly tourist destinations for 2025 as part of activities to mark its fifth 5th Tourism Week in 2025.
The list was selected based on a 100-point evaluation system developed by the department, with criteria covering professional service, tourist support, environmental sanitation, waste management compliance, and community responsibility. According to the department, these factors are key to building trust and enhancing visitor experience during their trip to the city.
This year’s selections highlight numerous cultural and historical attractions such as the Independence Palace, Ho Chi Minh City Museum of History, Ho Chi Minh Museum, Cu Chi Tunnels, and the Suoi Tien Cultural Tourism Area. These destinations are highly appreciated for their clean and beautiful spaces, well-organised visitor reception, and clear information systems that make it easy for tourists to explore the city’s heritage.
Binh Tay Market, a major commercial site, was also recognised for maintaining a civilised shopping atmosphere, implementing clear price listings, and providing courteous customer service.
Many culinary, accommodation and tourism service establishments are also honoured for their clean environments, friendly conduct, and enthusiastic assistance to visitors, reflecting the city’s goal of promoting a modern, welcoming, and hospitable tourism.
