Hanoi, RoK seek ways to boost tourism cooperation

Officials of the Hanoi Department of Tourism met on November 11 with businesspeople and journalists from the Republic of Korea (RoK), who are on a fact-finding trip to the city, to discuss ways to boost tourism cooperation between the two countries.

Director of the Hanoi Department of Tourism Do Dinh Hong briefed the RoK delegation about the city’s tourism development over past years and introduced its popular destinations and services, particularly the capital’s culture, food and free tours around the old quarter.

Hanoi will create a healthy business environment for enterprises to attract more tourists, he said.

Hong also expressed his hope that the RoK entrepreneurs and journalists will act a bridge to promote tourism cooperation between Hanoi and the RoK.

At the meeting, the two sides discussed a range of issues relating to improving tourism service quality.
