Ha Long Bay among stunning Asian seaside spots to watch sunrise and sunset
VOV.VN - Magazine Travel + Leisure of the United States has recently published an article highlighting UNESCO World Heritage site Ha Long Bay as a tourism mecca, and describing it as one of the most stunning seaside spots in Asia to watch both the sunrise and sunset.
Located in the northern province of Quang Ninh, Ha Long Bay boasts more than 2,000 limestone islands.
The article outlines that the best way in which to avoid the bustle is to dodge day trips and do a two-night cruise. This will allow visitors to take in clusters of islands too far for day-trippers or overnighters to get to, thereby allowing tourists to surrender themselves to the rhythms of the sea and the sun.
The prestigious magazine ranked Ha Long Bay among the most surprisingly stunning seaside spots throughout Asia in which to watch the sunrise and sunset. It points out that once afloat, visitors can watch both the sunrise and sunset from the deck; its ascent over the Gulf of Tonkin; and denouement behind the slew of islands, bays, and iconic limestone outcrops.
“Then wait a while longer… because it’s the blue hour, that twilight time between dusk and darkness, when the locals believe Ha Long Bay is at its most beautiful,” according to the media outlet.
The other top remaining three places in the list are Ronblon Island of the Philippines, Kuakata Beach of Bangladesh, and Kenting National Park of Taiwan (China).
