Gia Lai unveils fresh logo and tourism slogan

VOV.VN - The Central Highlands province of Gia Lai have announced a new logo and slogan which is set to be officially used in local tourism promotion activities as of November.

The unveiling comes after the provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism organised a competition for the public between June 13 and September 30 aimed at finding a new design for a tourism logo and slogan for Gia Lai province.

Following the launch of the competition, organisers received 63 entries from 26 authors nationwide with an author from Da Nang claiming the contest’s first prize.

According to Nguyen Duc Hoang, Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, the new logo will become a symbol through which domestic and foreign tourists can gain greater insights into the beautiful and rustic charms of Gia Lai and the area’s historic traditions.

With the new tourism motto of "Experiencing and sharing", the province hopes that visitors to Gia Lai will be able to have an array of interesting experiences through various forms of tourism throughout the locality, including eco-tourism, cultural tourism, and spiritual tourism.
