Ethiopian Airlines to launch Hanoi route in July
VOV.VN - Ethiopian Airlines, one of Africa’s leading carriers, announced on March 18 the launch of a new route connecting Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa, with Hanoi.
The service, set to begin on July 10, will operate four flights per week.
The Ethiopian national carrier said the new route aims to enhance trade, tourism, and cultural exchanges between Vietnam and Ethiopia, as well as between Vietnam and the entire African continent.
According to Mesfin Tasew, CEO of Ethiopian Airlines, the expansion to Hanoi will strengthen the airline’s presence in Southeast Asia while improving air connectivity and offering more travel options for passengers.
Ethiopian Airlines affirmed that the new route will further solidify its position as "Africa’s largest airline with the most extensive network," providing seamless international travel through Addis Ababa.
Vietnam calls for full observance of int’l humanitarian law in Ethiopia
Ambassador Dang Dinh Quy, Permanent Representative of Vietnam to the UN, has called on concerned parties to fully observe the international humanitarian law to prevent hunger in Ethiopia.
