Discount card for tourists issued in 200 locations
The TouristCard, a promotion card for tourists, has been introduced at 200 locations in six cities and provinces nationwide.
Card bearers can avail of discounts ranging between 10 to 50% for services at specified hotels, restaurants and resorts in Hanoi, HCM City, Danang, Khanh Hoa, Quang Tri and Quang Binh.
According to Skylight Media, international joint stock company, which has issued the card, over 3,000 cards are available with agents nationwide at a price of VND 90,000 (US$4.3) each.
The card, which is similar to an ATM card, will provide all information about tourism services and online payments.
The Danang-based Skylight Media company will tie up with banks to develop the cards as a credit card.
