Direct air route connecting New Delhi and Ho Chi Minh City launched
VOV.VN - Air India, one of India’s premier global airlines, announced on April 10 that it will officially inaugurate direct air routes between the Indian city of New Delhi and Ho Chi Minh City starting from June 1.

The airline will make use of an A320neo aircraft in order to operate the flights five days a week, including on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
The new service will also enable convenient one-stop connections to Vietnam via Delhi for travelers from the United States, Canada, the UK, and Europe.
In terms of routes to Southeast Asia, Air India now operates non-stop flights to Singapore, Bangkok and Phuket of Thailand, and Yangon of Myanmar.
As of July, 2023, the flag carrier is the second-largest airline in India, behind only IndiGo. Air India became the 27th member of Star Alliance on July 11, 2014.
