December highlights of Park Hyatt Saigon

A Christmas-themed afternoon tea at Park Lounge which is specially designed by the hotel’s pastry chef Kim Narae is served every daily from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday through Friday during December.
After 5 p.m., a new concept on the terrace of Square One restaurant is a casual outdoor venue for catching up with friends in the evenings or after work with craft beers, food and cocktails by the glass or pitcher and DJ music.
Beers start at VND40,000, cocktails at VND110,000 and food at VND50,000 per item.
This December, guests are invited to discover the essence of autumn with chef’s recommended menu at Square One restaurant.
Diners will start the meal with an earthy and refreshing chestnut soup enhanced by sweet chunks of beetroot.
For main courses, people can choose Jean Larnaudie duck breast served with seared foie gras; French Chicken paired with winter black truffle pot pie; or butter-poached Maine lobster with caramelized cauliflower purée.
A dessert to finish the meal is American apple pie, topped with vanilla ice cream and dulce sauce.
This month, Opera restaurant will feature true taste of Lombardy, a region which is best known for its dairy products, including the world-famous Gorgonzola cheese.
Chef Matteo Fracalossi will introduce a menu which will begin with gamberi e prosciutto di Parma, a combination of Parma ham-wrapped prawns with Gorgonzola and sweet-and-sour pumpkin compote.
The first main course will be casoncelli with sausage, cabbage ravioli, potato cream and Parmesan chips, followed by a second main course of ossobuco with slow-cooked veal shank, creamy saffron risotto and light gremolata.
Last but not least will be a Sbrisolona dessert, a traditional cake from Mantova served with Panettone ice cream.
