Da Nang to receive 10,000 international flights this summer
VOV.VN - The Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Operation Joint Stock Company (AHT) has revealed that Da Nang International Airport will welcome more than10,000 international flights from 28 airlines during the course of the summer.
According to details given by AHT, from now to late October, the total number of international flight departures and arrivals at the airport will reach 20,918, including 10,460 arrivals and 10,458 departures.
The central city is scheduled to receive flights from the Republic of Korea (RoK), Taiwan (China), Malaysia, Thailand, China, Singapore, Japan, Cambodia, the Philippines, and Laos.
Most notably, there are up to 11 airlines operating routes from Da Nang to the RoK, thereby accounting for nearly 46.1% of the total number of flights which will take place during this summer.
According to the schedule, Da Nang Airport will see the presence of a new airline, Malaysia Airlines, which will regularly operate the Malaysia - Da Nang route with a frequency of seven flights per week from June 1.
